A must see, the area is really interesting and immaculately kept. No charge for going in either. Great to find out about the traditions. Even the small shop was inexpensive.

Beautiful shinto shrine that gives you a nice relaxing break from the noise and buss of the streets around the shrine. Very beautiful and worth the rather short walk up from the Electronic city

Kanda-myojin is a pretty shrine not too far away from the main strip in Akihabara, it's offers a moment of relaxation after walking along busy, modern main strip

The shrine is beautiful, but I was slightly disappointed. I was hoping to see hand drawn ema, but all were mass-produced and sold on site. However, it is a much smaller shrine where you can observe Shinto practices in a more intimate setting.

This is a must-see when in Tokyo, although it is quite crowded. Spend some time wandering around the shrine as well, as there are many beautiful statues and gardens.

Lovely shrine but after a while they all begin to be very similar. The Kanda festival was going on so that was fun to see. Definitely worth walking around the area.

But honestly, more remembered for the shopping than for the religious buildings, rebuilt after the allies bombing in WW2

We decided to visit this shrine because of its IT blessing. We thought it was amusing and I wanted to get a friend a souvenir for his tech. This turned out to be a much better/enjoyable visit than to the other tourist focused shrine. There...More

towards Jinbocho, you'll find musical instrument and
sports equipment shops, and an area of used bookstores
for students and anyone interested in literature and
the arts. Akihabara is well-known for its computer and
