Best way to see the city! Great exercise, see the bits of Tokyo you would otherwise miss

Wonderful tour, great exercise! I took this bike tour as I love cycling and wanted to arrange something that would be a good form of exercise after the too long flight to Tokyo. I took tour B and it was perfect! We covered 18 miles over about 6 and a half hours with our lovely guides on and off main... More

After a long flight and a quick rest, We had our tour with the Tokyo Great Cycling Tour team. Led by Kazu, the 6-hour activity exceeded all of my expectations. Learned some history, got to see the city, and made some memories biking around Tokyo. The tour guides were extremely resourceful and were able to provide the perfect welcoming activity... More

We had a great time with Kazu and Yakko on our bike tour of Tokyo. I was worried it might be stressful getting around Tokyo on bikes, but it was great. Our guides were amazing. They made you feel like you were just hanging out with friends and biking around Tokyo. We did Route A, 6 hours including a stop... More

I was recommended to join this cycling tour of Tokyo offered by Tokyo Great Cycling Tour and I am glad I took up the recommendation. The tour guides brought me to places that I will probably take two days to cover if I were to take the public transport but we covered it in under six hours including lunch break.... More

It was my first time in Tokyo and I was overwhelmed by a culture and language I had never experienced before. This made me wary of adventuring out into the streets of Tokyo on my own and especially off the beaten track. I was looking for a way to see the real Tokyo and then a friend told me about... More

We chose Route E (the hardest route, unknown to us), which was challenging but definitely doable. Lovely neighbourhoods like Yanaka, Nezu and Kagurazaka - neighbourhoods that I never thought I'd ever visit were so pleasant. Our guides, Neno-san, Toshi-san and Yukiko-san were very informative in telling us the rich history of Tokyo and the areas we visited. They were also... More

The guys do a wonderful job and we do not regret joining them. Seeing Tokyo the way they show it is adequately best way possible. Route B is very enjoyable. We also appreciated the fact that the guide spoke very decent English

This a great tour you can join to really experience moving around the different areas of Tokyo and enjoying the many great sights along the way :-) Was accompanied by a guide and i was the only participant of the day (was so lucky that the tour was able to proceed even with one participant). Just reserve on their main... More

I had a great time, joining a group of 12. It was a mix of families, couples and a few solo travellers. I had been to Tokyo a few times for work but took a day out this time to explore the city. It was a fantastic day. The guides are excellent - friendly, knowledgeable and so helpful. They looked... More

EVERYONE is so friendly and helpful. They do speak English, so you do not need to worry about the language barrier. We selected the back hills (route E)- it was awesome! Bikes are great, and the guides will show you a very cool side of Tokyo. Just book it, you won’t regret it. Route E has a few hills but... More

Neighbourhood Profile
Ginza / Tokyo Nihonbashi
Ginza is famous for being a trendy hotspot, but it's also a downtown area with shops that were founded over a hundred years ago. Department stores and luxury boutiques line the route from Nihonbashi to Ginza. It's a long established tradition to shop and stroll while the road is closed to traffic. Luxury hotels, world class cuisine from talented chefs, and a collection of glitzy clubs will make this area popular with anyone looking for a night out.
