We walked along the street while exploring the Ginza area. Lots of fancy shops and a few restaurants in the area. Didn't buy anything. The street like most streets in the Ginza area was quite crowded.

This is the quieter street a couple of blocks away and running in parallel to Chuo-dori (Ginza's main street), where the Japanese wealthy go to shop for their luxury brands. Chuo-dori has the big department stores and some larger flagship shops, and Namiki dori is...More

Chanced upon the area during our daily walk up and down The Ginza in the evening. Namiki-Dori is a street in the Ginza area which perhaps houses the most exclusive showrooms in Tokyo. What that actually means is that You and I are good enough...More

The street is mostly just large buildings with large high-end shops, so while its entertaining enough to walk through, I can't say I felt there was very much to do apart from shopping very extravagantly.

Ginza / Tokyo Nihonbashi
Ginza is famous for being a trendy hotspot, but it's
also a downtown area with shops that were founded over
a hundred years ago. Department stores and luxury
boutiques line the route from Nihonbashi to Ginza.
It's a long established tradition to shop and stroll
while the road is closed to traffic. Luxury hotels,
world class cuisine from talented chefs, and a
collection of glitzy clubs will make this area popular
