This park competes with its neighbor Tokyo Disney, in some ways no contest, although it is worth a stop if you are in the area, with its Sea Life Park, beaches, Japanese garden and lotus pond. It has wonderful walking paths (unlike Disney), a huge ferris wheel, the largest in Japan, and actually operating, it offers birdwatching, more. I walked... More

Great place to visit in summer. There is a BBQ area where you can rent everything you need and they have food you can purchase. There is also a beach area. We played Tag-rugby there and it was great.

It is next to sea but sea is not good for swimming. If the weather is very hot, I recommend to go to another park in Tokyo. There enough sittings to hide from sun.

Always wanted to go there since feb but freezing winter made us hesitant. Finally visited in june. Huge park...take the train around the park. Slow, a little creaky...but fun. Stop at the aquarium, have lunch at the cafe. Take a walk....fun.

It is a huge and well maintained park. Very good for kids. They also have small train ride. Restroom facilities are also good.

This place is a must-visit whenever I'm in Tokyo. I haven't been on the Big Wheel or visited the aquarium as I've always found plenty of other stuff to see and do there. Depending on the time of year, you'll have a different range of birds to see. I've been in March, May and September with very different sightings each... More

If you're into either birding or bird photography, this is a great place to visit. It is easily accessibly by train and fairly well signposted so you'd be spending most of your time looking at the birds rather than dossing around looking for the areas of interest. For a novice birder, like me, it was great as the park has... More
