Visit here for spring cherry blossom, less crowded and fantastic view with food next door. If you are lucky, you can see TV crews sometimes reporting about weather for Tokyo.

We took a few photos and that's about all. I suppose you got to like TV Asahi before you entered. My wife did buy some small gifts from their shop. Not for me!

We found Asahi TV studios when going to visit Mori Tower in Roppongi Hills, it's a nice little find to take a look around and visit the souvenier shop that's on site. It has a lot of Japanese characters such as Doraemon and there's little Hello Kitty plushies dressed in the Asahi TV panda mascot's outfit (so cute!) in the... More

TV Asahi is just beside the Roppongi Hills. The ground floor is like a sort of mimic Disneyland for kids, all kinds of popular TV animation characters and scenes, among which the most known is surely Doraemon. Doraemon's room is the most photoed and selfied background. Staff are very kind if you want help to take photos. Souvnier shop near... More

It's located at Roponggi Hills, there're a lot of Japan's famous animation such as Crayon Sinchan, doraemon pictures etc. There are several spots for you to take many pictures with cute background like you usually see from Japan TV station.

Just off the Roppongi stop at the ground level this was a small place for visitors to go and take pictures with characters from the TV station. We stopped at ate at a pancake cafe inside that was good and desserts were great as well as gorgeous. But make sure you just drink the water as it's 6000 Yen ($6)... More

Actually, this is the central building of the various activities of Japan's TV Asahi. Offices and their business center. However, they also receive visits of people who want to come there, and here also provided a wide range of merchandise production events they produce, including Doraemon.

Felt this was a bit of a waste of time as there really want much to see here. Plan to spend your time doing something else unless this is the only thing left to do.

There really isn't much to see within TV Asahi, but since I'm a fan of Doraemon, I can't leave Roppongi without visiting. Doraemon junkies will surely enjoy picture spots, especially the "Nobita no heya" (Nobita's room).

More recently, with the opening of Roppongi Hills, Tokyo Midtown and Akasaka Sacas, the area has declared itself as the most fashionable spot to be seen. The area also hosts the National Art Center and the Mori Art Museum and lots of trendy art galleries.
