Tokyo Tower offers sensational views across the city and can offer a moment of calm in an otherwise busy environment. The tower has a glass floor section allowing visitors a bird's eye view of the city.

The Tokyo Tower offers up a stunning 360° view of Tokyo from above. Definitely worth a visit if you find yourself within the area. Note that they do charge a fee to go up to the top of the tower.

A good evening visit, illuminated tower looks very good. Close to subway, you can't get lost just look up to see the tower. Reasonable price to first observation platform with great views of city skyline. There is a gift shop and when we visited a very good jazz group

Tokyo Tower looks great from the distance, particularly at night. The small aquarium underground is a great retreat, and there’s events that happen regularly.

A bit higher that Eiffel Tower in Paris, Tokyo Tower is supposed to give the panoramic view of the city. It does that, but unfortunately when compared to SkyTree, it doesn't stand a chance. Moreoover, relative expensive with long queues.

The Tokyo Tower is a great experience. The view is awesome. Even saw Mt Fiji. The weather was perfectly clear so the view was spectacular. I would recommend this site.

One of the tourist attractions which you should visit if you have time in Tokyo. A 5-10 minutes walk from the nearest train station. Good viewing place regardless of timing. I went during evening and it was night view. Kindly note that there are quite a number of train station that is near to this attraction, thus may need to... More

There are two levels of the main view point. There is also a section with a glass floor so you can see straight down. It is a one time view kind of attraction. The view rarely changes and if it does, it is usually by just 1 or 2 building, so it is hard to tell. I would day you... More

Staying in Odaiba / Shiodome / Shinbashi

Neighbourhood Profile
Odaiba / Shiodome / Shinbashi
Odaiba is an entertainment hotspot with a giant ferris wheel, concert halls, amusement arcades and lots of shopping. It also boasts Oedo-onsen-monogatari, a hotspring that recreates old Edo-era ambiance and is very popular with foreign visitors. Shiodome has ultra-modern office buildings where you can often find restaurants with a great high-rise view of Tokyo. The neighboring area of Shinbashi is a district of much older commercial buildings and it's a great place to join 'salary men' enjoying a drink and snacks at street stalls under the railway bridges after work.
