Interesting place reminding first Tokyo Olympic Game

More than 50 years old facilities but does not look so old. It is nice to walk around as it is traffic fee area.

This park is huge and comfortable. In sunny weekends there are many people having fun. For cyclists this is a great place to do some training at least at an amateur level. There are three children's parks, where kids can have fun. Each area has a different animal theme: a horse park, a pig park and a squirrel park. You... More

Festival season. They do an October fest that is awsome. Lots of space for young kids to run and play.

Not really good to play, and run on the glass because mostly covered. Lots of green in a middle of Tokyo. Approximately 2km cycling and running course and rental bicycle available. Japanese noodle, "Ramen show" , world meat cuisine festival is yearly scheduled. And German beer, Octover fest. in June, why ? and Mexican food and beer fes. "5 de... More

Playground for kids, gymnasiums, work-out gym, bicycle/running/walking track, benches, trees, shrubs, flowers...the place is big. A lot going on during weekends where local schools have tournaments.

Easy to find. Great trains and excellent taxis. Clean fresh and tidy. Great plants and shrubs and greenery around the stadiums. Went for a international soccer tournament. Wonderfull international food festival at the same time. 2 small fields and one main stadium. A 10 minute walk to restaurants and shops for lunch . Tokyo weather in April May is rather... More

In itself this park seems pretty impersonal. Built for the 1962 Olympics ... not the green open spaces for resting & relaxing. That said there are often events being held there to amuse you ..... today the Cinco de Mayo Mexican festival and by way of a coincidence the American football game between the Big Bears & the Unicorns. Got... More

Let`s hope this center of the 60`s Olympics gets a revamp ahead of 2020 if they decide to use the space, as it reflects Japan in the 60`s, with very little work done to keep up it`s former glory.

Besides the biking and the jogging trail the best is the gym which accepts one time visitors for 500 yen or are card for 12 visits for 5000.

Huge park, nice pedestrian walkways, in a quieter residential neighboorhood. A bit dated, with some parts closed (the swimming pool closed since earthquake years ago).
