本堂に入り、座りながら心を落ち着かせて日本庭園を眺めることが出来る、東京都区内で数少ない寺の一つです。休日でもあまり人は多くないため、ゆっくりと境内を散策することが出来、多忙な毎日の中の心のオアシスになると思います。特に訪れたいのが晩秋。境内の銀杏の葉が、燦々と降り注ぐ太陽の光を一斉に黄金色になり、文字通りの極楽浄土のような雰囲気に包まれます。雨の日に訪れるのもお勧めです。しっとりと濡れた境内の木々を、本堂から眺めるというのもいいかもしれません。 都内の有名な寺社では味わえない、ゆったりとした時の流れを味わうことが出来ます。 It is a temple where you can look at the Japanese garden while making you calm from the main hall, it may be a rare temple in central Tokyo. So, as a foreigner you can't really visit Japan and not go to a temple or two. That would be like visiting Egypt and thinking "Pyramids? Nah! Don't think I'll bother" So most visitors to Tokyo who see a temple will most likely only go...More

I believe it's Ikejiri Ohashi on the Denentoshi-line (Tokyu), but it is more convenient to go by bus.
