Really nice views. We took the elevator up and enjoyed 30 minutes in the evening. Would probably worth it to arrive before sunset.

There's a few "high view" experiences available in Tokyo, but I think the Met Govt Building wins out because it's free, and also because you can see the Sky Tree and other towers from it, so much better for photo opportunities. Amazing views both across...More

I appreciate that I get to view the whole of Tokyo from above at no cost at all. This is truly a treat for many budget travellers. The view from above is an experience and it should be in your itinerary!

Must do if you are visiting Tokyo. Incredible views and completely free. Within walking distance of anywhere in Shinjuku. The South tower is the best.

Not sure if it is open to public but the building is big and there is connector bridge to the building across it. Nice to be photographed there.

Both are good. (if I remember correctly) northern one is better in the evening/afternoon because of the sunset.
