after paying your Y200 to enter the park, you can stroll around at your own pace. As the park is so large you can find your own area to lie down and relax for a little bit. There are plenty of water fountains for a...More

Amazing park we enjoyed our day trip just blocks away from our hotel. Beautiful gardens with a large variety of trees and extremely well taken care and clean. Green house, bonsais, gardens. Peaceful place , perfect for wedding pictures.

Lovely park, which is beautifully kept, and allows you to get away from the busy areas of Tokyo. There is a small charge to get in but well worth it. Can get busy at weekends.

The Shinjuku Gyoen National Park is by far the biggest Japanese Garden that we have visited. The moment we entered this park, we were in complete Awe of it! The greenery of this park was simply mind blowing. Not not is this a large garden...More

I highly recommend visiting this garden if you want to relax and enjoy authentic Japanese gardens. I could have spent longer than the 1 1/2 hrs we did. Such a great garden next to a bustling part of the city

A lovely, large park that provides respite from the busy city streets. The greenhouse looked nice but I got there too late to go in (The park closes at 4:30pm. Last admission is at 4pm)

The dark pink blossoms stay for a few more weeks. So Shinjuku Gyoen will do just fine :)

Stayed at Citidines Hotel Shinjuku 5 minutes walk from train station, supermarket, gardens. Very central see my review. We travelled by train everywhere except a day tour to Mt Fuji.

I suggest a day trip to Nara if you're going to be in Tokyo that long
