Nice temple to visit and experience the culture. Worshippers come and pray for health. There is a statute of the Goddess of Kannon where you wash the part of the statute that is sore and will cure your ailment. Outside of the temple, there are...More

Togenukijizo is obviously a local temple as the friendliness of the locals show. Rub that part of the statue that corresponds to your troublesome body part for sone help.

Togenuki means to get thorns out of your body. Smoke from the big burner in front of the building is supposed cure any ailment. It may even make you smarter.

The temples in Japan are a site to behold and it is nice to see that they are looked after and very symbolic to the people of Japan
