I often go to Shinagawa aquarium because it's very nice place. There are huge park around aquarium, you can get a relax with calm feeling by fresh air. After that you will see dolphins, sea lions, seals, penguins, loooot of fishes, jellyfish, rare living things of Japan etc. You can touch the starfish etc too at the section if you... More

I'm sceptical of captivity to say the least. Going here was an eye opener. Yes they have done a reasonable job with the way they educate people, but the tanks that hold the dolphins are far too small and they show signs of rake markings and disease. Dolphins should not be in captivity, I've learned that they are taken from... More

We stayed at Shinagaw Prince, swam in pool (terrible experience), went bowlling (fun but $50 for 2 games) and went to AquaPark- one of the highlights for my teens due to the dolphin show. Aquarium is small but nice, had one ride, some cool jelly fish exhibits. Dolphin show excellant they had at least 3 different kinds. Splash zone in... More

It looks small from the outside but it is really a huge aquarium. They have a sea lion show and dolphin show and it is fun to watch, but if you don't like seeing dolphins in tanks then don't watch it. It also features a sand tiger shark at the very end, two of them in fact. It shows big... More

They runs three shows: dolphine, seal and sea lion. This was my 3yr daughter's first time watching marine shows, and she was absolutely excited. The show was nothing special; it was just running through the schedule. Some of the tanks were definately too small! Not sure if the animals are happy, but at least they keep the environment clean.

Do not go! This place is terrible. Dolphins kept in a tiny tank and treated awfully. So unpleasant and not worthy of being called entertainment

It is in the city center and considerably cheap. They have 3 different shows a day. I am not sure if the dolphins are happy from what they do, I really enjoyed them watching, they were amazing.
