We went to Orient Bay Beach twice during our stay and loved it. It's on the windward side so the water is a little choppy, probably not ideal for small children to play unattended. We rented beach chairs at La Playa both days. It was...More

Beautiful beach, plenty of places to choose from for lunch and drinks. You can rent beach chairs at very reasonable rates.

The beach is beautiful but we could not enjoy ourselves here with all of the women constantly trying to sell us something even though we kindly declined. They stood in front of the 2 chairs & umbrella we rented blocking our view of the beach....More

The beach has suffered much erosion . Much seaweed is washed up daily .a lively spot for beach bars and activity Must say we visited other beaches on the island with more swimmable water

We went and were sad to see all of the seaweed. once you got past 1-2 feet of it, the beach is gorgeous. Just bad timing I guess. We left and went to the other side of the island.

We went to the beach for a day of fun. The beach is fine and parking was very easy. It was 20 euro each for a chair for the day, so we just sat in the sand because I can't bring myself to pay to...More

We read a lot of good reviews before going here. We ended up seeing a beach full of seaweed, both on the beach and in the water. Many reviews also commented on the people (older) that should not be nude, so we didn't care too...More

Take a stroll to the nude area. Has great water and some very interesting sights. Do not be bashful as the beach goers do... take it all off

Not sure how much it is there but in Orient beach it's like $40-$50 per person for Parasail for about 15 minutes & Jetski is about same price too for 30 minutes. But you've got to go to a couple spots & haggle to get a deal... More

Depends on where you are. If you're by the resort, probably not. If you are farther down the beach, probably not going to be a problem.

We just came back and didn't see any seaweed? The water was colder than our normal here in Florida, but no seaweed. I would have noticed an eye sore like that.
