Steep climb up to the castle and ruins but feel like a prince or princess in the turret! You will get amazing views over the countryside, river, and vines clinging to the hillside. I am not sure if the disabled/less mobile would find this easy...More

Saarburg Castle is located on a strategically favorable mountain ridge between the Rivers Saar and Leuk above the town with the same name. It is beautiful place to visit.

Worth the little climbing. The view is breathtaking. One can go up by car and then there is a little climb. There is a memorial for the dead of three wars, including WW2 composed of three combined crosses.

This a small lovely caste with beautiful view to Saar river and surroundings from its tower. You can chose from several trails either from river side or from the down town. All of them are romantic and offer beautiful views to surroundings. I enjoyed.

A simple ruined castle with free entry and information boards in multiple languages. Limited opening restaurant available. Climb the narrow stairs in the tower for lovely 360 degrees view of the surrounding area.

This is a historical location, with the rare free entry possibility. You can climb up top and make a really nice panoramic photo of Saarburg and it's surroundings.
