We had low expectations but were pleasantly surprised. This is absolutely worth the visit and worth the 6€ entrance fee. Neat bit of history of the building, the industry and the town. Highly recommend. Takes about 2 hrs to go through with the self paced...More

Interesting place to visit but the guided tour was rather long winded. The better option would be the self guided audio.

Fascinating tour covering the history of hop growing and beer production. You are supplied with a voice player that plays a recording for each item.

An interesting tour with an audio guide available in English. Lots of facts and folklore about hops. My family, who accompanied me under much protest, were impressed by the museum. You start at the top, on the third floor, learning about folklore and religious attitudes...More

A Leger Battlefield tour. An enlightening visit, the history of the Hop and the role it played in saving Poperinge after the sudden end of it's cloth industry.

You do the tour of the museum on your own and can get through as quickly or leisurely as you like. Good value.

Poperinge is well know for its local hop growing...although not so much as I remember when I was a little girl. This is an excellent insight to how the local beer is made and certainly interesting and worth a visit
