We visited this small but richly decorated chapel of Santo Stefano. We also visited the crypt. It is still used for religious celebrations to this date. I'm not sure to what time it dates. but the the architecture must be well over two hundred years...More

A simple octagonal baptistery from the 11th century. No longer used for church purposes. It's not always open either. On Tuesdays there is a weekly market in front of the chapel. Then it's usually open. From spring to late autumn, however, exhibitions of local artists...More

Nice enough but really will not detain you for more than a few minutes. Don't make a special stop but if you are passing. Did seem very dark inside and take care with steps to crypt as easy to trip.

The shape draws you closer and is worthy of taking a snap or two and sharing on social media. It reminded us of our visit to Rocca Calascio in Abruzzo.

We visited this lovely old church and donated funds to visit the oldest part down below. The marble pillars and alcoves are amazing.

Although an historic building not especially different from many other churches in Italy A art exhibition was in the Baptistery which gave added interest

went for a walk around the village of Lenno and was fascinated by this old church beautifully kept and worth a look the frescos inside are beautiful.

Thus is our second visit and last time there was a craft stall inside but this time nothing. So although it is an interesting baptistry it would not detain you long.
