I haven’t been to Duxford for many years and to be fair wasn’t expecting much to have changed. How wrong I was. The whole experience was amazing and I have to say I’ve only seen half of it. A second day is definitely on the...More

Spent a fabulous day at Duxford. We'll need to come back as we could only cover two halls! Very well laid out, very helpful and friendly staff and volunteers. The catering offerings are a bit iffy and perhaps that was because it was November.

Really interesting- planes, tanks etc from WW1 up to date. Enough info about each machine for the non-mechanical minded (me!)and very informative volunteers onsite to add more interesting facts and background.

We have taken our American visitors. They were overwhelmed when they saw their Uncle ‘s name on the wall of rememberance. We all enjoyed the day out.

IWM Duxford We visited today as a group of four 'seniors', ex-RAF aircrew and maintenance engineers. Firstly, I was shocked that the Imperial War Museum (there’s a clue in the title) made no concession for serving or ex-military personnel. I was frankly non-plussed there was...More

Whenever we're in the area we visit. It's been some years since our last visit and even though most of it is still the same, it's still worth every penny to come back. If you love aviation history, you will love this place time and...More
