We spent a good couple of hours here - nearly all on the house tour. It would have been less but the guide wasn't the best and kept forgetting things and was very slow. We would advise going around the house by yourself ( good info sheets as you go round) or use their audio system available from reception. The... More

Having read TA reviews we decided to visit on our way to Kidderminster and very pleased we did. We joined the guided tour which lasted around 90 minutes and was excellent. Some of the house is being restored but we saw the majority of it including the priests' hiding places. We enjoyed a superb cream tea in the restaurant after... More

Visited Harvington Hall after a brief search on the internet. This Elizabethan manor house is truly authentic, and has the most priest holes of any other in the country. We were very fortunate as they had an event on with authentic costumes and displays which made the tour of the house all the more interesting. Really fascinating visit!

I live 45mins away and l had never heard of Harvington Hall until my cousin went with some friends. I feel very deprived that l have only just visited it and missed so many years of ignorance because it is so lovely. We went on a beautiful Spring day and after travelling up a very unpreposessing lane were confronted by... More

Visited the Tea Rooms again . This time for High Tea. Once again the staff were very friendly and welcoming. The food was more than ample and delicious. The sandwiches were an assortment that suited everyone's taste and the home made cakes and scones were to die for. Four of our party had not visited before but will be returning... More

We visited on the first day open after the winter and had a fascinating guided tour with Volunteer Phil. The house was fascinating and Phil, and the other costumed volunteers made our visit memorable. A real gem!

Whilst looking for something to do on a dull March day, we stumbled on Harvington Hall which is owned by the Archdiocese of Birmingham. We were its first visitors of the season. The volunteers who ran the place were friendly and helpful. The £8 entry price was worth every penny. The moated tudor house looks smallish from the outside, but... More

My wife and I had renewed our HHA membership (£75.00)(visited 25 very interesting properties last year ,,excellent value) and decided to pop into Harvington Hall for a nice tea and cake (£2.10 pot per person and a lovely Fruit Scone with Cream and Jam £3.50).
