Definitely a magic place! A prehistoric fascinating village emerging from the earth, unique in the world. Guides will take you through the ruins of a prehistoric "castle" and village and tell you the incredible story of the ancient Sardinian people. You'll never see anything like that naywhere in the world, so you better don't miss it! In summer they also organize evening events like concerts, night walks and star observation.

We were surprised at the hospitality of this site. Our guide was lovely and accommodating as we had our son with us. The nuraghe was breathtaking and in great condition to visit. It’s located in Orroli which is a breathtaking town. A must visit for those seeking to experience a nuraghe.

The sight is very beautiful and the staff is nice, however they do not understand other than Italian. We only got a piece of paper where the ruines were explained and we did not get to keep it. It could also be more detailed.

This is a stunning site to visit: with one of the most intact Nuraghi on the island. You can walk around, through, and even climb into one tower. They are presently doing excavations, so you can see history in the making.

The Nuraghe is the house the Sardinian people used to build a few thousand years ago. It is a must to see at least one of them. Naturally, you can see Nuraghi ( the plural of Nuraghe ) all over the island but this site at Orroli is a complete village with houses and the central building that is like a castle. Very impressive conical construction with huge stones that is worth the visit among olive and fig trees, specially in a sunny day.

It was beautiful experience to walk through the ruins this big Nuraghe. It situated in the middle of nowhere (but very close to Orroli) and the only sounds around us came from the nature. It is really worth to visit it.

Visiting the Nuraghe Arrubiu, means understanding a lot more about Sardinian People. Wherever you agree or not this people were the famous Shardana "people of the sea" or you simply think they had nothing to do with them. Here, about 4000 years ago, there was an amazing civilization, able to build monuments that still stand today.
Moreover seeing a Nuraghe standing on the top of the flat mountain makes you feel the loneliness and courage of the hold farmers that moved around this island their sheeps to find every single day better food and greener lands, and that they still do it today.

If you are around this is a must see!
