The visit is mainly the library and some family history. As the current family live upstairs its guided tour only. And to preserve the books no tours if its humid. Worth buying the dvd giovane favoloso to see the history. Wine for sale below.

If you have little time to visit it, be aware that the visit to the house are in groups of 30 people, so once you buy the ticket (you have to wait a bit) they will put you in the next guide available, so have...More

It is worth visiting Palazzo Leopardi , the home and Library of the Italian poet and thinker Giacomo Leopardi, a not so well known major influence upon Arthur Schopenhauer and other early XIX C. German philosophers.Tour guides in german and engludh available.
