Most enjoyable tasting, the owner came over and told about each bottle of wine, poured us a glass and left us to enjoy it with the accompanying snacks. Same for the next bottle, and the next and so on! Thoroughly recommend Hauner on the Isle of Salina, go and enjoy

We were on a sailing trip through the wonderful Eolian Islands with friends and the idea of a wine tasting was not one which filled us with huge expectations. However we were pleasantly surprised to arrive in the courtyard garden of this small family winery which was set up with colourful tables and chairs. There followed a delightful evening of... More

We had an amazingly authentic wine experience at Hauner. Run by the grandson of Carlo Hauner, Andrea has great passion for what he does. The tour of the facilities, the story of his family, his great pride in his grandfather who was both artist and Malvasia pioneer and the setting of the azienda made for an amazing experience. Sitting back... More

The tour is also a great oportunity for buying at a convenient price Hauner's products. We bought some Malvasia and found it just awesome. Recommended for those spending... More

If I say that their malvasia is fantastic -and I hardly like wine,- that surely must mean something! We visited in September, and were offered a tour around their facilities by Andrea. If I'm not mistaken Carlo the founder was his grandpa. We bought some of their Malvasia and wine and took it back home with us to share with... More
