Best holiday yet.
Nov 2019 • Family
so I traveled here with my 19 year old son in November 2019. We were due to go to Egypt oct 2019 but lost our holiday through the Thomas cook collapse. After finally waiting for our refund we just so desperately wanted to go away that we kind of just booked this resort on a whim without much research. Refund Oct 11th flew out Nov 14th. We stayed at the paradise valle taurito Hotel, for which we left a review for. Wow we was blown away. The resort is tiny. There isn't a lot to do but we had been working so hard all year that we didn't want to do a lot. There is a secluded beach with the darkest but softest sand. The beach is lined with a few restaurants, a couple fo which belonged to the hotels and some independents. There's a water sports centre on the beach too. There's a big water park for which entry was free for those staying in the paradise chain hotels. The only bars were the ones in your hotels. I can't remember how many hotels there was. Two on our side and I think 3 on the other side. It really is a tiny resort. It would take about ten min to walk all the way round. For the evenings there was the hotel bars but for the paradise owned hotels there was a central arean which hosted shows and games and kids disco and drinks were part of the paradise owned all inclusive package. There were plenty of little shops. A couple of grocery stores, some gift shops, some luggage shops, hairdresses. A shop or two selling pool inflatables and a pharmacy. There's football and tennis courts. Crazy golf, go-karts, bowling and trampoline for kids. At night we'd go for a drink in the hotel pool bar, on to the arena or a drink back to the hotel bar for a hour or so then take a couple of drinks up to our balcony to watch the resorts lights slowly go out. The resort looks stunning at night and it appears all rooms have a sea view of the Atlantic. Lovely sitting up on the balcony of paradise valle taurito Hotel watching the cruise ships sail by at night.

We took a taxi to mogan the next village which is a fishing port. €20. Some of the hotels on the resort offer a free shuttle bus but ours didn't. So taxi it was. Loved walking round there and the beach was beautiful too but the restaurants can be expensive but made a change from the hotel food.

Other than that we spent our entire days either lazing on the beach in the 24°C sun (two loungers and a parasol was €10 for a full day, bargain) or lounging at the water park. Loved it there. Soft clean sand and clear blue sea. Two of the hotels were all inclusive at the water park too but ours wasn't. It was free to get in but food and drink was charged. But we would just go to the shop and buy a big bottle of coke, big bottle of water and some snacks and magazines. A whole day would fly by, just lying there reading and sun bathing. We did have a couple of beers there and was charged about €6 for two which is standard price. Sometimes there would be music at the water park which we enjoyed and sometimes there wouldn't be. The water park is salt water so can hurt your eyes after a bit but we got used to it and used eye drops.

So to sum it up - if you want a lively, pumping, busy place this isn't for you. If you want a lazy, quiet holiday spent lazing on the beach and by the pool in peace and warm weather, like us...this resort is perfect. Don't get me wrong, Its not all old people or young families, as a 38 year old woman with her 19 year old son we found plenty of young couples to chat to...they were just the same as us..worked hard all year so just wanted peace and quiet.

10 out of 10 I would recommend the paradise valle taurito. 4* hotel but better than some 5* we've been too. I'm glad we lost our holiday to Egypt cause otherwise we wouldn't have discovered this little hidden gem.

Secluded resort - a bit scruffy and not as quiet as it used to be
Feb 2020
The resort is small and secluded. It takes about 15-20 minutes to stroll around the whole area (30 minutes if you walk very slowly). We've been here several times before but this time noticed it's in need of a bit of tender loving care. The paving stones are uneven and cracked and missing in places, maintenance of the walkways in general is required and it's all looking a bit tired. We've not noticed it before but on a few days there was exceptionally loud blaring music playing from the centre of the resort which could be heard everywhere, for several hours, not late at night but annoying nevertheless - seemed to come from the waterpark area and the video screenings in the centre of the resort. It's such a small place it doesn't take much for noise to travel.

We were very happy with our stay at this hotel. We were especially pleased with the service from one of the employees, Yuliana. She was very serviceminded and made our stay the best! 😊

Nice little beach
Oct 2019 • Couples
Don’t be put off by the dark sand, it’s lovely and soft. This is a well used beach, by couples and families of all ages. Convenient for most of the hotels around. Good to walk along the shore and when the tide is out, to explore the rocks and caves. Waves can be fun, or trouble for the older and younger. Sun beds and parasols to hire, but lots of sand to lay on as well if you don’t mind a grey towel. Snack and drinks around.

Fantastic location but advertised as Puerto Mogan but was in fact Taurito Playa. Very dated and in need of complete renovation of rooms and common areas. Food was very good for an all inclusive but the pool bar food was not very nice, cooked well in advance and not very warm. Staff were very friendly

Dissapointed
Oct 2019
Not as good as before. Spirits awful, they ask you to buy premium package, €9.50, a day, you can buy a decent bottle of brandy for that..Food warm at best, not a great selection. Breakfast cold, children running wild. Such a shame this is a very nice hotel. Spotless inside, rooms are good, and wonderfull views.

Paradise Ville
Oct 2019 • Couples
Hotel clean, food good, however entertainment extremely poor with shared entertainment area with sister hotel which was totally inadequate for the amount of guests. The drinks were pre prepared and left on the bar ready for consumption so were warm and flat, seating area was wooden tables & benches so after approximately 15 minutes you were uncomfortable and numb. On 3 occasions the handyman had to attend the room to repair broken doors in our friends room twice for the front room and once the patio door. We attempted to keep the room on our last day and had been requesting to do so from day one to be continually told we had to return to request this option on our final day, in the meanwhile we watched the overflow.from the cheaper sister hotel be placed into the Ville. On the final day we were told no rooms were available for late checkout unless we wanted to pay a further 150 Euros. Would I return. No.
