The music during my visit to the park was so loud that it was defeaning! My friends as well as other guests around us were miserable because of the extremely loud music. We complained to staff, but they said that nothing could be done. This really ruined our experience

I took my two children (13 and 6yrs) having weighed up the pros/cons of here versus Aqualand. We were staying in Mogan so Taurito Lago was closer (although it takes longer than you'd imagine due to a land slip that has kept the main route closed for the long term).
This waterpark was also cheaper too.
When we arrived mid morning all the parasols were taken, but we were able to find 3 sunbeds.
From a distance the waterpark looks OK, it's once you're in that it becomes a bit unpleasant.

The paths around the pools are all a mish mash of uneven concrete. It's really uncomfortable to walk on and needs repairing in many places.

The pools are filled with saltwater, (as were the pools at our hotel which were very nice) but these were horribly salty, as in a thick, heavy feel to it that immediately became itchy on your skin as you exited the pool. The water was cloudy and there was lots of debris (vomit in some pools!), there was a brown sludge mark around the waterline on the walls.

There were many, many tiles missing in all the pools.

The slides were OK. The very high ones really hurt my daughter on the joins. She hit the water and was winded on one.

There are lifeguards around who polite and friendly, I just didn't feel there were enough of them.

The ladies on the snack bar were pleasant and efficient.

The toilets were just about OK. It wasn't overly clear which were male and female and there were men in the ladies shower area.

The waterpark is attached to the two neighbouring hotels and the animation team came down in the afternoon. It was absolutely terrible, the music at the loudest possible volume, it was buzzing and screeching. My 13yr old couldn't leave fast enough, it was that awful.

We made the most of it for a few hours but it was the general upkeep and cleanliness that really put us off.

Was slightly wary about this place after reading reviews on here but decided to go for it anyway.. Firstly, we thought it was great value, €49 for 2 adults and 3 children (could’ve been cheaper if we’d booked online) compared to the Sandcastle water park in Blackpool which is £100+
Salt water was a bit of an issue for the kids, they complained a fair bit and needed time out but overall it didn’t ruin our day.
Yes, the park is a bit tired but the slides are great and the pool is enormous with areas for younger kids too. It certainly isn’t dangerous as others have suggested. Sun beds are included and we’re plentiful, you pay for parasols. Barely queued for anything so went on everything multiple times .Snack bar was pretty basic but perfectly fine, good range of pizzas and usual fare. All in all a good day out and worth the money. Park underneath, €6 for 11-4

Went here 3 years ago before covid and thought we were in paradise. Purchased umbrella, sun bed loungers etc. It was beyond beautiful. Hotel buffet was absolutely stunning. These cost extra but was more than happy ro pay.
We went last week hoping for the same experience.
When we arrived.....
No buffet (only at weekends)
Food from the park was not great
No sun beds
No umbrellas for shade available
No seating area with any shade available
No beds whatsoever available
Too many people being allowed into park and not enough room for anyone
Man at the gate had a clicker in his hand to count the number of people entering and it was overfull
Walked about for an hour looking for somewhere to set down our things.
No room so we got some food , checked around again and then left.
Such a pity as this place was magnificent
Will not be returning again

Spent four hours at the water park with the kids. The slides were good fun and you didn’t have to queue for long. The staff were very good too.

It’s a salt water park but not overly salty. The swimming area is huge too.

The reason I give it three stars is that’s it desperately in need of a complete facelift. There are tiles missing from the pool every few metres, and I’m not talking one or two, I mean huge patches of them.

There are rust pools everywhere. The banisters are rusting in parts too.

The concrete floor you walk on is also crumbling in many parts.

These are all fixes that could be taken care of during the off season - well, all except the clumps of missing tiles on the floor of the pool.

All in all, a decent place to take the kids for a few hours, but get there early to avoid the dreaded search for a sun lounger.

We never ate there so can’t comment on food.

Nice, a little dated but fun to spend a day with children and to soak up some sun. The price is a bit high compared to the quality.

Had a nice morning here with my teen boys however within the hour they had completed all the rides. Sadly there is nothing else to pass any other time such as a lazy river etc

We all noticed a real lack of lifeguards, mostly one guard directing at least 4-5 slides at a time. Not ideal but those few staff were friendly.

The park is, as many describe, very tired looking to the point of dangerous in the main pool, tiles are off the floor all over the place and the main pool I found to be quite dirty with bits in it and tissues/plasters.

The sunbeds are uncomfortable and bowing in the centre. Umbrellas that you pay to use are very old and dirty however they serve a purpose .

I’d you are going with little ones it may be ideal to wear beach shoes as the hard, uneven concrete floor is unforgiving to the softer feet!!

The toilets are clean but again need an update, lighting in there is so poor you can hardly see and in the changing rooms there is nowhere to hang clothes - no pegs or benches.

We didn’t eat there and took our own food.

It’s ok for a few hours but wouldn’t call it “a day out”.

We knew from
Other reviews that the pool water was salty sow closed our mouths when in the water. The water badly stained our swimwear, so don’t wear your favourite gear!!

Overall it was ok for a few hours.

We were trying to decide between this park and Aqualand. Lago Taurito was more than half of the price for our family of 4 (kids aged 7 and 10) so we decided to give it a try, and we were glad we did. The layout and variety of slides and pools were ideal for our kids, lots to try but not too large to get lost in the park. It was easy to find sun loungers and didn't feel too busy or too many queues for slides. Although other reviews are correct that it is a bit tired and could do with updating in places, it all felt safe and well run with lots of staff everywhere. The pools are all salt water which took a while to get used to, but we took goggles and found a pharmacy nearby who helped when our son initially had a rash from the water, so once this was sorted it wasn't a problem. Overall it was good value, we had a great day there, and the kids want to go back!

the whole place was run down and dirty, the pool was so salty that your eyes stung so much and didn’t feel safe on the slides as they look very old and jaggedy

Very nice place to visit. Nice aquapark also for kids , view for the ocean from my room. Food was nice , everyone can find something, a lot of choice. Near its Maspalomas you can go for Camel trip , or boat trip to look for dolphin, or in Puerto Rico just few min from hotel its Angry Bird Park Activity for kids , close to its nice beach Amadores really recommended.
