We went to go visit this dairy/cheese farm because I had seen it showcased on Stanley Tucci’s Searching for Italy show. The drive alone is worth it up a windy mountainous road with breathtaking views. This farm is home to the Bianca Modenese cows and the fabulous cheeses they produce. Unfortunately, we were unable to do the morning tour that is offered on-line. However, when I mentioned that I had come from the US due to watching Stanley’s show, the lovely proprietress Daniela provided us with a full on cheese tasting with wine. I had merely asked her for some recommendations, and she went all out to letting us sample their amazing cheeses. We even got to try fresh ricotta that was made that morning. That was a first for me! It was an unbelievable and an unexpected surprise. Needless to say we came home with a lot of their fabulous cheese. Thanks again Daniela as this will remain an experience I will always remember!
