A very well-conserved Crusaders castle with beautiful views
Sep 2016 • Friends
Castillo de Benabarre is a castle located in the upper part of the little town called Benabarre. It is one of the many castles, which were built in 10-11th Century by Crusaders to reconquer Iberian Peninsula to the Muslims, located in the region. It is well conserved and very romantic, but you cannot visit any inner part of the old castle, only the beautiful outside. Moreover you can see nice views from the castle. Really, the zone seems a desert and you can imagine a battle in the Middle Ages, except the part of the town, which is ugly. Probably one of the best conserved castles in the region.
