This was one of a few wineries recommended by our friend, Giancarlo in Modica. He sure was right...it's an awesome winery! We opted for the salami and cheese platter to accompany the 5 wine tasting as it was in between lunch and dinner. It was still a ton of food. And the salamis were almost as good as the wines! I came across the villa by chance, what a find. To breath in the history of times gone by. I believe the ancient winery is one of its biggest of its kind in Italy. I will never forget this place.

Very welcoming people who are passionate about their property. Fascinating story about this family who started off in a small way and ended up with a complete village together with private church, school police station winery mill beautiful gardens oil pressing area. Really well worth visiting. Entrance fee is applicable and pre-booking recommended. They can also organise olive oil /wine/cheese tasting sessions and other events.…
