It's neither tree climbing, nor trekking! Instead it's the Opalaventure adventure course in Sainte-Cecile. Safely surf or bike from tree to tree across the forest in the heart of the countryside.

The adventure park (safely) brings together lovers of extreme sports in the trees of the Nord Pas de Calais region - families and children from the cities of Lille, Amiens, Arras, Abbeville, Saint-Omer and of course the Opal Coast: Sainte-Cecile, Hardelot, Le Touquet and Boulogne-sur-Mer.

The children had a wonderful afternoon and it was a joy to watch. We forgot to book and only booked this morning but they accommodated us. The staff were very welcoming. They were all bilingual and made us feel at ease by automatically speaking in English. The activity was great for both our 3 year old and 8 year old... More

Our third time here and we really enjoy it. You get excellent service from the staff before you're let loose. The climbs are colour coded so you know what you're letting yourself in for and this time I tackled red, the penultimate before black. It was a bit of a challenge and at times I stalled - I have no... More

We visited for our kids (aged 5 and 7) to have their first experience at tree top climbing. Would thoroughly recommend - the staff were very welcoming - they spoke perfect English and got rid of any nerves our children had. The girls absolutely loved it - they did the 2 kids courses that they have over and over again... More

We have been going here for years since my youngest was 3 years old she is now 11years old!! Each holiday my daughters go and have a fantastic time sometimes even twice during our stay! We had a great afternoon in the trees (2 adults and 2 children) on the Discovery course. Really helpful staff who gave the right level of support for ability and spoke perfect English. Very thorough safety briefing and a good mixture of obstacles to challenge us through the trees. Would thoroughly recommend.

A much needed burst of activity & adrenaline for our kids in amongst more cultural stuff. Great fun, very exhilarating. Good safety briefing, nad all the gear was well maintained and seemed safe. A range of courses from baby (sub 5 years old) through children to the final one which will stretch older teens or atheletic adults. A lot better... More

We stumbled across this adventure activity and we weren't disappointed. The weather was a little on the chilly side but it didn't stop us hanging from trees by ropes, zip wires and nets. Can not recommend this place enough, it was great. We had three children (9 and 10 year olds) and the discovery course that we took was challenging... More

I went here with my daughters aged 10 & 16. They both enjoyed it & we only chickened out on getting to bike. The staff were great, making every effort to cope with our lack of French. The safety chat was done for us in English & then we were on our own on a well marked series of courses.... More
