The Eyewitness Museum is a fascinating WWII museum depicting vignettes of the war featuring very life-like mannequins. Several things set the museum apart – the uniforms worn by the mannequins and the material in the dioramas are all original, and the story is told using...More

Wanted something casual to do on a Sunday afternoon and was pleasantly surprised with this museum. Very interesting collection, realistic wax figure displays, and an intriguing narrative of a fictional soldier to follow through the museum. It was really cool to see some of the...More

The Eyewitness Museum is centred around the story of fictional German paratrooper August Segel, a soldier in the First Fallschirmjäger Regiment, which was later partially absorbed into the Hermann Göring Division. Segel guides visitors through his war experience, from his enlistment into the German army...More

As Martin F says the museum is small and located in a private home in Beek, and although small, one does get a sense of what it must have been like, especially the cold exhibition in the room which although small, does feel really cold,...More

Anyone even vaguely interested in the Second World War will be favorably impressed by this gem of an exhibition. Do yourself a favor, see for yourself!

I first visited this museum in 2014 and thought it was an amazing use of an old house: packed with WW2 kit and memorabilia, with some amazing life-sized dioramas. The past two years I have sent many battlefield tour groups here from our Leger Holidays...More

Visited as part of a Leger battlefields tour. This is a privately owned museum and I must say one of the best I have visited. The owners are extremely helpful. The displays are wonderful and so life like.
