a must see and must do: walk from Vaals (Netherlands) to Gemmenich (Belgium) or cycle it (if you have the muscle and lungs to do so). Do visit the Wilhemina tower which gives you a fantastic view of the 3 countries. You can even see the cathedral in Aachen from there.

A very interesting stop if you are anywhere near the borders where Germany, Belgium and Netherlands. A spot good for children too, but the climb to the top isn't too hard and the views are spectacular. Spend a few giggly moments putting one foot in one country, one foot in another and a hand in the other like a travel... More

We were in the neighboorhood, so once in a lifetime you must have visited it.Winter time is not the most perfect time for it, but you can walk to the old and the new landmarks (new, because recent measurement proved that the old one with the three landmarks was slightly on the wrong place).

We did a short detour to here on our way back to The Hague. It was cool to stand in three countries at once. The place does need some TLC. It was cool to go up the tower and see the views of the three countries.

We expected way more from it. It is just a small stone with a few flags here and there. There is also tons of people and cars just driving through, so it is not enjoyable to look around.

This is where the three countries of Germany , Belgium and The Netherlands meet and therefore is quite busy with tourists. There are some nice walks and forests (in Germany mainly i think!) and a tower that you can go up for a small fee to see the view. A maze is nearby along with lots of cafes to eat... More

I did some nice walking around the drielandenpunt (that was closed the moment I was there). Since it was quit that time, the trails were nice and the views stunning.

Be ready for quite a long walk to get there. But it worth it, just for a possibility to go around three different countries in a minute :)) The area around is actually a forest with pathes to walk and panoramic view spots.

I went there on a rainy day, but it was worth it. Nice greens around, free play-area for children. Nice big labyrinth to explore (€4 for kids,€5 for adults) Plenty of restaurants to chose from. Nice souvenir shop with reasonable prices. You have to go to the top(€2.5 for kids,€3.5 for adults) to properly appreciate the place. Car parks are... More
