Ask for room 7 in the castle tower. The room is very large and has a very large bathroom. The bed is comfortable and has beautiful linens. The best thing though is the view! It was windy and stormy when we were there and you could see for miles from the windows or the balcony. You will feel like you stepped back in time. Dinner in the restaurant was delicious. We let the chef prepare and serve his choice...antipasto typical, pasta, a generous carafe of Nero d'Avola and of course olive oil made from the farm's olives. Every thing at Tenuta Fratelli Sanacore is organic and delicious!

never would have found this place if not recommended by our tour guide. Exquisite local food, all organic. Right in the middle of 800 olive trees and many grapevines. Quite a sight to see. Get the price fixed lunch- just amazing!

Like the other reviewers -- we stopped with our guide after Segesta and before Erice. We tasted different olive oils and had a wonderful lunch with about 8 different antipastos, followed by pasta. Definitely ask about this place.

We visited this olive oil farm with our guide on the way to Segesta. We had a delicious 3 course meal which was included with our tour. The cost is 25 Euro with wine and water included. I assume you need reservations to visit on your own. It is a wonderful experience. The farm is located in a beautiful, scenic area, between Erice and Segesta and a great place to have a wonderful lunch with fresh ingredients.
