My 2 friends and I spent 3 days at La Tavola Marche in late Sept. What a wonderful trip. A beautiful rustic centuries old farmhouse with modern conveniences. Extraordinary hospitality from Ashley and Jason, with a wonderful dinner served our first night there. Large breakfasts with fresh fruits, yogurts and eggs from the chickens were a bargain for $5. Jason was well organized and Ashley and him worked together like a well oiled machine. I have a chef as a son and love to cook. Jason was well able to teach me many useful recipes and techniques. I came home and my Son was happy for the information and the wonderful recipes!

I loved our cooking class at La Tavola Marche! We took a half day class culminating in a delicious lunch. Jason, the chef, is an amazing teacher. His passion for slow food, local food, and enjoying the journey of cooking really shine through throughout the class and energized everyone. We're excited to try the recipes at home, and even more... Jason is very knowledgeable and passionate about cooking local with what you have. His teaching style was excellent because he was dealing with a class of 3 sisters with very different levels of kitchen capabilities, we all learned about using new ingredients and cooking techniques! It was fun cooking a four course meal for all the guests!

I had been curious about this American chef from NYC dropping everything and moving with his entrepreneurial wife to the heart of rural Italy to run a cooking school! I finally took the plunge and decided on a 4 hour class! Jason is a true professional and teacher! While teaching seemingly not too complicated pasta and sauce, he taught us... More

Jason and Ashley provided a fantastic cookery experience with a great combination of hands on experience and scientific explanations of the process. Much better than any class attended before and highly recommended

At first I was skeptical about taking an Italian Cooking Class from an American, but I quickly saw the naiveté of my pre-judgement. Jason knows his s**t and is enthusiastic and fun to watch. He is not condescending to those of us that can't even boil water. It was a great great cooking class, and we got to keep the... More

Best cooking classes I've ever taken. My husband and I learned so much and had a great time cooking with the most beautiful, freshest ingredients you can imagine. We couldn't believe how delicious everything turned out. Jason is a phenomenal teacher. We learned so much about how things like wine, cheese and cured meats are made in the tradition of... More

Jason Bartner and his wife Ashley offer a half day, full day or five day cooking school at their award winning agriturismo inn: La Tavola Marche. It is at the cooking school where the full meaning of agriturismo, a working farm, unfolds: you will cook with perfect seasonal ingredients just pulled from the farm's gardens and when the recipes call...
