Was recommended to go by the owner of our guest house. It proved to be a great recommendation. The garden is beautiful with many quiet spots and unusual plants. They also have a mini zoo for small kids.

We visited La Cutura in July. The two adults in our party enjoyed the visit ( teenagers not so much!). It is open in the morning and then is closed for a few hours and then is open again later in the afternoon so check the times before you go. There is a huge array of cacti in various indoor... More

La Cutura is a very unusual spot, a botanic garden with an astonishing collection of cacti combined with a farmhouse style restaurant. The plant collection is dramatic with a distinctive arrangement of specimens in various groups. The cacti are particularly intriguing and, we are told, the largest cactus collection in Italy. Very well organized

A beautiful garden estate well worth a detour. The most astounding collection of cacti and succulents I have ever seen are worth a visit alone. Add to that the lovely roses and herb gardens, hidden areas and the impressive collection of pure breed poultry and it makes for a lovely couple of hours or so. Restaurant not open at time... More
