Walked in asked for a tour and the girl says ummm walks away in the back come back and says OK, paid and got practically zero direction, turns out you don't need much direction cause it's just a hallway. Interesting reads, very educational and a lot of fun to see. 5 mins later we were out in the gift shop... More

I was here in NB during my stay from Aug 23-25, 2016. A friend took us to the Covered Bridge Potato Chip factory in Hartland, and it was a very enjoyable and educational experience. You get to learn the history behind potato-chip making and you get to see the process unfold before you. You see employees behind glass walls operating... More

My wife and I did this tour while driving by. Tour amounts to walking through and reading the signs. Takes about 10 min in total. At the end you get a small bag of chips, which you can flavour however you want with little flavour shakers. We had to ask for our bags of chips as no one came out... More

We arrived there close to closing time and all the days tours were finished. However we were allowed to enter the manufacturing area and we found loads of informational posters on the walls educating people on the industry in general, it's history and the business itself. Considering there was no tour we spent probably 45min inside the plant reading each... More

My wife, 9 month old son and I decided to travel to Hartland for a day trip and decided to visit the Covered Bridge Potato Chip Company and do the tour. The tour is short, but very informative. They also give you a bag of chips straight off the line before they get their seasoning. You can then take those... More

First off, know that really, you're going and paying $5 per person to taste a bunch of shaker flavours on some fresh off the line potato chips. This is can be a very quick detour directly off the highway, and you can pick up gas and a Subway sandwich in the same parking lot. The tour consists of walking down... More

Stopped in with our kids after seeing THE bridge. Casual tour; can see the whole process up close. You get a bag of fresh chips to season yourself. Reasonable cost; nice historical displays; and nice little gift shop. Great chips and a fun time!

Chips are great, just don't visit late in the day otherwise, you get soaked for $5/person for the privilege of seeing an empty warehouse of shut off machinery. that left us with a bit of a sour taste in our mouth considering we were there literally immediately following a bus tour takes all of a few minutes to go through... We stopped by the store figuring there would be some different flavoured chips, maybe not sold everywhere,or something interesting to buy. There was nothing really worth stopping here for.The two young girls working there seemed like they had nothing better to do then chat with each other behind the counter, not a hello,a smile, nothing.A suggestion for one of them could be to clean... We stopped by the factory after picking up a brochure at the NB welcome centre. We decided to pay the $20 for family tour. The tour is self guided and each visitor receives a bag of fresh chips at the end of the tour and the ability to add whatever flavours you would like to try. The workers behind the... More
