We came to Bolgheri to eat lunch and see the area. There was hardly anything open and we needed coffee and food. This charming place was open and took credit cards. The local fare was delicious and they had local wines, too. Very good wild boar and polenta.

The menu is not long but has also daily offers + some everyday specials. Try the pasta with truffles and/or polenta with wild boar - both were superb. Service pleasant and the best thing - you can buy wind you drank during the lunch as a take away as well.

Stopped in for lunch while on a cycling trip. Indoor and outdoor seating. Choice wine list--several in our group tried the recent gold medal wine winner (Bolgheri Sassicaia 2015) and were not disappointed. Nice lunch menu--salads, pastas. Relaxed atmosphere. Good food.

We stopped here just browsing, and ended up stocking up with sliced meat, cheese and bread for our 3-day stay in Tuscany. Good food, but amazing service as well
