We stayed in Meritus (north) and out the front the beach is perfect. To the south it’s not as nice. But still white and the sea the same.

You can see the beautiful sunset here. Many activities, like parasailing, Jet ski, Banana boat are also available. You can also book day tour(Island hopping, Mangrove tour and etc) here, as many agencies on the beach.

We stayed in padang matsirat and travelled to cenang daily. I would suggest to stay in cenang beach itself as there is alot of eateries and shopping areas close by. Night life was ok.

The beaches are public. So one can just hop and walk along the beaches though it is encompass by resorts. Water is not so clear but swimmable and warm.

Such a beautiful view from this beach. Have a drink on the beach in the evening and watch the sun go down. As it get dark so pretty as they bay is lit by tiny lights twinkling out as sea from the fishing boats.

Langkawi was once a beautiful island. In the last few years it has been utterly trashed by careless development. Whole chunks of the coastline have been sold off to developers, meaning you can’t even get near the water a lot of the time. However, worst...More

Lots of activities here. Shallow and warm waters. We really enjoyed Sunset here. Not too crowded in front of our chalet! Can't wait to visit again!

Yes. Also if you go to the yellow cafe they have bean bags on the beach with small tables. Perfect to sit and relax while the sun sets while you have a refreshing beverage at the end of the day.
