Overview
More
Only 3km away from the centre of Zabljak, Malo (Small) and Veliko (Big) Lakes merge into Crno (Black) Lake. This lake is specific for its dark blue shade of water, which often seems black, and the effect is created by the Lake's depth and the dense Durmitor pine forest surrounding it.

There's a nice walking path around the lake, so if you want to spend some outdoor time, this is a good choice. There's also a nice adventure trail in the trees that your kids will definitely enjoy. You must pay an entrance fee. I think...More

A bit longer and more difficult then expected, but a very beautiful walk around the lake. At some places, good shoes are essential!

Black Lake is simply stunning, this is "wild" Montenegro! It is a glacial lake, blue and green are colors, so clear and clean it acts like a mirror against the backdrop of mountains. There is also lots of hiking to be done here, with good...More

Picturesque lake surrounded by trees, there is a (mostly) easy walk all the way round but some parts are rocky. Wear sensible shoes!
