Entry fee is 3 EUR per day + 2 EUR for parking. The walk to the black lake takes a few minutes from here.

This breathtaking national park was formed by glaciers and is traversed by rivers and underground streams. Along the Tara river canyon, which has the deepest gorges in Europe, the dense pine forests are interspersed with clear lakes and harbour a wide range of endemic flora.

Not to be missed when you visit Balkans. Stay for night or two. Enjoy some walks and dramatic scenery. Eat clean local food, outstanding fresh air! Sleep well :)

I don't know why this attraction is for the Visitor Centre. The real attraction is the park itself. After you pass through the entry gates, there is about a 700 meter walk to Black Lake. The views of the Durmitor Mountains beyond the lake are...More

We planned this trip and decided to take a jeep tour ("Ring of Durmitor"; with driver)- so we really got to see the best of the park. The views are beautiful.

Driving through this park is a visual dream, the gorge is drop-dead gorgeous. Glad that we had a bus driver to tackle the road's twists, turns and tunnels.

Worth the visit, beautiful and scenic view all the way from Kotor to Zabljak. The lake is beautiful and there is a possibility to walk all around. Also, the little village is charming and lively!

Durmitor is staggeringly beautiful and a very, very special treat for anyone who enjoys natural beauty, the outdoors. We have loved every point we've been able to visit and experience but want to come back to discover more!

I was there in August 2015 and it was pleasantly warm, no snow where I was.
