If you stay close to Odda, don't miss the chance to drive to the twin falls of Låtefossen. That was already a popular tourist attraction back in the 1800s, but we have another good reason to go there. You will get wet, and ditto for...More

The twin-waterfall Låtefossen is a majestic sight to behold. 2018 was a particularly dry summer, but even so it was enough water floating to make an impression. Best time to visit would be spring/early summer when the snow's melting on the mountain tops and the...More

chanced upon this waterfall on our way to Odda. It was beautiful in the early morning, a nice place for a quick stop.

The waterfall is quite spectacular, you can always feel the water in the air, but the pedestrian traffic is still problematic because of the absence of sidewalks and pedestrian crosses.

We drove past this waterfall while leaving Odda driving towards Preikestolen. It’s easy to make a stop here but there were lots of people.

Very crouded, but nice waterfall with two streams. Usually with rainbow. Worth of visiting. Pictures strongly depends on the sun position.

This fall came to an abrupt view so drive slowly as you approach and listen for the sound before seeing it. Although, parking is limited, turnover is fairly fast. It is beautiful as it looks and even more so to the senses of hearing and...More

This is a beautiful waterfall located on the road leading north from Skare to Odda. It splits into two as the comes closer to the ground with the left one providing ample opportunity to soak in the mist and take photos. A small tourist shoppee...More

Visiting this waterfall is kind of anticlimatic. The waterfall is very beautiful. But the surrounding is not ... The road passes very close and there was construction work going on. So let's go find a waterfall somewhere nicer :-)

One of the nicest waterfalls what we’ve seen in Norway. 10 minutes ride from Odda, you don’t need more than 1/2 hour to spend here. Just be careful, as there is quite a lot of traffic on the road , which has to be crossed....More
