Been coming here since I was a small child and am captivated every time! If you need a break or some time out, there's no better place to go, was overjoyed when it was announced as an outstanding area of natural beauty, as it deserves the reputation and needs to be left alone so that every generation can enjoy this beautiful slice of mother nature.

Lovely views from the top of the Downs, only one steep climb to achieve it. Did a 6 mile circular walk from Wye to Wye.

Visited here with my 9 years old daughter. We both loved it and stayed here for 3 1/2 hours but would happily have stayed longer. The scenery is stunning. You need a good level of fitness as there are several steep slopes to climb. The Devils Kneading Trough is an outstanding view. There are two car parks, one bigger than the other. The bigger car park holds about 20/25 cars. Both car parks are free. There are maps dotted around the nature reserve to tell you where you are. There is a nature trail to follow. We also walked part of the North Kent Downs trail to the Wye Memorial Crown. This was about 30 minutes to walk there and back from the small car park. We will return !

Beautiful views across an incredible natural steep valley - car parking is relatively limited though it was quiet even on a sunny August day during Covid.
