The gardens even in winter or well-maintained and a nice family day out small walk around the lake is approximately 2 miles there are numerous activities for young children and the restaurant is very good quality and not badly priced would recommend purchasing membership if planning to attend more than five times during the year as this will cover the... We spend every weekend walking round the lake and never get board of it. You can make it as long or as short as you like and It is suitable for all ages or abilities. Due to the time of the year, the gardens are changing slowly every time we go and I can't wait for summer when they are... More

I thoroughly recommend this venue, both for the gardens and the shopping area. Trentham Gardens are very dog friendly, the whole place is relaxed and very well maintained. I have had and will again have an annual membership pass, as I love to walk in the Formal Gardens and around the lake. A super day out

Lovely gardens and plenty of scope to wander around - the lakeside tea room is really nice and there is a shopping village and other places to eat outside the main gardens too.

We like this place, it's just 50 miles from home. Otherwise we'd go more regularly. The park is well maintained, the path all the way round really tires out even the hardiest of kids. They allow under 4s with their scooters/bikes to take them in To the park. This is a godsend to be honest! Our 2 yr old absolutely... More

Great for a walk through the Italian Garden, around the lake and then some retail therapy! Plenty of choice for lunch, snack or just a coffee. Well located for North and South. Plenty of parking.

I absolutely loved this place- there is so much to do here especially if you have children. They went on the mini train the mud trail and the maze. My children absolutely love it, we walked round the lake with the stunning views and did the fair hunt. Definitely recommend this to families.

Lots of interesting cabin type shops to visit and ample parking, there are also some places to eat and of course the monkey forest is worth a visit on the same site Saw

We visited during December 2016 for a day out whilst staying close by, there was nothing special about the visit.

We visited on our way home to Lincolnshire from Chester having googled places to visit on our route home. As we arrived I thought I had made a mistake as we drove in to a huge garden centre car park and shopping village. We could see the gardens across the water but had to ask someone how to access them.... More
