Had the opportunity to view the Church and attend Mass whilst passing through the town on our Camino in May this year - definitely a highlight

You can't leave Navarrete without going into this church. The church dates back to the early 1600s. The altarpiece is huge and gorgeous- maybe 'over the top' with gold colored reliefs and statues that cover the entire wall from floor to ceiling. The church is...More

We were just out looking for somewhere to eat when we decided to pop into the church. It was darkish in the church when we entered, but there is a box saying €1 for lights. I put the coin in not expecting much, but WOW...More

Really one of the few things to "do" or see in Navarrete but it is an amazing old building. Spent about 15 mins looking around the outside, has an impressive exterior. Stamp (sello) for pilgrims is available.

a gorgeous church with piped in music when Mass not in session. The 20:00 Mass included a pilgrim's blessing at the end.
