While it is still in the top tier of the Mendoza lunch food experiences, it has lost a little of its luster. The food is still outstanding, along with the presentations, but the service has slipped. The entire wait staff disappears for long gaps. The chef is inventive with changing menus on a seasonable basis. If you go get a... More

My husband and I visited in November without a reservation. Fortunately there was one table left in this busy little bodega. The short tour of the winery we did prior to lunch was informative. The lunch menu was unique and delicious. We loved every dish excluding the desert - which was a bit of a let down. Wine pairings matched... More

We went there as a stop for lunch in a tour and even on our way i thought the view was amazing. This is what you imagine when you think of going to Mendoza, sitting in a nice restaurant with vineyards all over and a view of the white topped mountains. Its a medium winery, i didn't think the tour... More

This is a very cute, medium size winery with great wines! We did the guided tour and stayed for the 6 course lunch paired with their wines. The food is contemporary ,exotic and very well cooked. It wasn't the most delicious food I have eaten in my life, but I can appreciate it for its exquisiteness. The view and the... More

We had a 7 course lunch with wines at Ruca Malen. Each course was a delight and accompanied by one of their amazing wines (the Malbec our favourite). We sat on a terrace looking out over the vineyards with the snow capped Andes as the backdrop - SPECTACULAR!

We did not take the tour; we went for the 6 course lunch. The place is gorgeous and we had a beautiful sunny day as we sat on the outdoor patio for lunch, overlooking the Andes. The table is beautifully set and you are given the set menu so you can look at the description of what you are about... More

My partner and I did a tasting and lunch at Ruca Malen, and overall, it was a very beautiful and tasty lunch and the winds here are pretty good. We came here on the recommendation of our concierge. Since we were here in the low season, it was relatively easy to get a last-minute reservation for a tasting and lunch.... More

Had the 5 course food and wine pairing as part of a private wine tour. Was pleasantly surprised by how good the wines were and the quality of the food (thought it was a better food and wine pairing than Andeluna). Great setting sitting outdoors looking over the Andes.

Ruca Malen have made this winery a stand out for me. We had a 6 course degustation lunch with a wide selection of their wine labels. So much creativity and flare in presentation of the food and flavour combination. The setting of looking across the vines to the snow capped Andes Mountains - amazing. This experience is certainly a "must... More

We did the tasting lunch at Ruca Malen ... and it was incredible. First, the environment: sitting on an outdoor terrace overlooking the vineyards with the Andes in the distance. The table set with nice place settings and glassware immediately puts you in the right relaxed frame of mind Then the food .. 6 course tasting menu with paired wines... More
