A truly fascinating place ,to learn and get a feel for what actually happened there. Along with the museum and the crematorium it does make for a tourist free and very interesting day out You climb the spiral staircase with detailed murals depicting the battle...More

This tower is worth a visit both as a museum to the Battle of Solferino, fought during the Italian Risorgimento, and as a platform for the stunning views of Lake Garda, Monte Baldo and the Po plain. Easily worth the 2 or 3 euros entrance
