You can only see the beauty of the rock from far away either from the road to get there or from the beach if you fancy walking on a not-so-appealing beach. The site itself is hazardous so be careful when you walk to the rock. Prefer the beach rather. There is a walk that starts on the right before you... More

Coral, snorkeling, kayaking and walks, this place is a great way to spend a couple of days. We saw turtles feeding off shore from one of the viewpoints and a lot of reef fish in close. The three bays walk is excellent and swimming at the beach at the end of the rock tunnel was fun.

Poe Beach was very quiet, nothing open or happening. The beach looks nice and the lagoon fairly sheltered for water sports - you need to bring your own gear though. Roche Percee and the 3 bays walk is worth the effort, although nothing spectacular.

Poe beach is beautiful but very rustic. Lots of camping. A few very small snack shack's. One gift shop with interesting things, mostly from Spain. Hotel de Poe looks nice (and modern). Other accommodations were too primitive to consider. If you have a car and 30+ minutes while driving the island, it would be a pleasant visit. NOBODY speaks more... More

Worth the effort to get to the Roche and walk out to it. If you are lucky you are like to see a sea snake on the rocks.

Don't expect this to be an "easy" tourist destination, not many restaurants or fancy bars around. But it is a great self-drive escape in nature - some beautiful beaches and great natural bush.

One of the highlights of New Caledonia... not to be missed. Spectacular clear water and amazing rock formations. Make sure you stay there so you can enjoy it more than a few hours.

I can't remember if I've reviewed this place yet, so I'm doing it again, so I'm sure to tell you to GO. Go see this place. Take the turn off the main route in New Caledonia and follow the signs to this gorgeous place. Getting back to Turtle Bay is a little confusing, but figure it out! this may be... More

Really beautiful beach and rock formations. The tunnel through the mountain that leads out to another beach is awesome.
