Quaint little museum details the life of Giant Angus MacAskill, whom Guinness book of world records named the world's tallest true non-pathological giant! There are artifacts belonging to the Giant in the museum as well as others dating back to that time period. Well worth the stop :)

Quirky Museum dedicated to the life and legend of a local Giant and celebrity.
This museum is based on the life of Giant MacAskill - a very tall man who grew into a legend of the area.
Cape Bretoners love their Giant Macaskill.

This museum contains many artefacts that either belongs to Angus, or were attributed to him and some that were just items donated by locals - but seemed to have no connection to him.

There is a Giant MacAskill statue to show you how tall he really was.

This is a cute little museum for people with a very specific interest in local Lore and celebrity.

Admission price is cheap - any more and I would say don't bother.

You don't need to spend too much time here. It is probably a 10-15 minute museum.

There were very few artifacts from Angus here. Mostly the museum consisted of pioneer items from the time he lived in the area.

Great little museum about the Famous Giant MacAskill that we heard about when we were kids. It was a great setting and lots to see. Cheap admission and the views in the area are beautiful. Doesn't take too long to see everything :)

Interesting museum on the way to the Cabot Trail, about a 'giant' who lived in the area. Many artifacts to see, and friendly, knowledgeable staff. Inexpensive entry fees, and doesn't take long to visit.

After visiting the museum, you can catch the Englishtown ferry to the Cabot Trail ($7 per crossing).
