our cousin introduce this winery to us, that's why we go there, it's a family owned small winery, it doesn't has ice wine, but a sweet wine, which is more sweet than other wine, but not as sweet as ice wine. we bought one bottle for a gift to our cousin. The owner is nice, but the shop is a... More

We stopped here on our way to Niagara on the Lake for lunch. We sat outside enjoying the vineyard view and were served by a young woman who treated us royally! we had a meat/cheese board with bread and jelly. It was just the right amount and tasted wonderful! The waitress entertained us with stories of their farm (the sheep!)... More

If you have the opportunity to visit only one winery in Niagara, visit Feathersone. Their Cabernet Franc is probably the best Canadian red I have taste, and the price/quality is impressive. Long on beauty and simplicity, short on pretence.

If you visit Friday through Monday, they serve a light lunch menu on the veranda of the beautiful old house. Wonderful ambiance. Featherstone does some great wines that are highly rated by the experts and priced very competitively for the region. We visit the area annually and Featherstone is always a stop. They have a wine called "Black Sheep Riesling"... More

I took my mom here for a late Mother's Day celebration. We sat on the veranda overlooking the vineyard and enjoyed wine, locally made cheeses and charcuterie. Everything was absolutely delicious and the service was excellent. I can't wait to go back!

We had a wonderful time at Featherstone winery for their tastings! The woman at the tasting counter was nice to engage with and very knowledgeable about their wines.

Two years ago we purchased a case of Featherstone winery, since then we have been on their Invited Guest list. This admits you to their pre release tasting event. Paired with food from 2 different chef's. Wonderful! The wine makers are milling around with you and are very engaging in conversation. This winery produces lovely wines and still has the... More

We came here after visiting a much larger "award winning" winery and we were so much more impressed with Featherstone. The staff person was warm and welcoming, informative and down to earth. The fee for tasting is 5$ which is donated to a local food bank if you don't make a purchase. Of course the wine was fabulous so we... More

After a busy day touring the region and visiting numerous wineries and tasting lots of delicious wine, we all decided we were "Wine-tasted out", but decided to visit this one last place. Featherstone is a decidedly different experience than many of the "new" wineries in the area. Having just visited a huge glass and steel building high on a hill... More
