On the way to more famous Cape Kamui, our Japanese host decided to guess and stopped here instead. It was a great decision. After you cross a tunnel you get the breathtaking views and can go down to the quite beach with a pleasant walk.

The tunnel connecting to the beach is under renovation till March 2016. Only the temporary observertory is available. Great view of the Cape Skakotan.
