It is a cute way to spend 30-45 minutes of your day, you just have to decide if you want to spend 500 Yen for an adult for it. It is really small...But, it was quite enjoyable and here I could take great pictures of the Okinawa buterflies.

Walk among the butterflies. Great opportunities for some really good pictures. Small, but worthwhile.

It's a small garden with butterflies and beautiful flowers, a place to relax. The butterflies love red color, so if you wear something red be prepared to be surrounded by them.

People seemed to gather around the Churaumi Aquarium and their restaurant was totally crowded and we had no chance to get into it, and we drove a few minutes and went to the restaurant on the top floor inside Ryugujo Butterlfy Building, which is shaped like the undersea dreamy castle in the Japanese folk tale, "Urashimataro." The restaurant was so... More

Not worth a trip on its own however if planned with any other sites in the area it's a great add-on. It's a small garden and not too many people visit but I think I prefer that over a crowded site. The butterflies are enormous and provide for awesome photo opportunities and fun experience for the family and kids whether... More

The only reason for going to this attraction is to see the "Tree Nymph Butterfly" - the largest butterfly in Japan - and quite a character, all decked out in black & white. They are housed in a small separate butterfly house and because they are used to humans and their favourite food plant is red in colour, wearing red... More

My 4 yo daughter really loves butterflies and she had a great time. My husband and I were not so impressed - especially considering the 1250¥ admission for a family of three. Maybe that explains the fact that we were the only ones in the parking lot on a weekend afternoon. The gift shop at the entrance is run down... More

While I don't usually go indoors for nature photography, this place is an exception. Twice, in the past year I've visited and, will probably go again. The trick, if you are serious about taking photos, is to be patient. Let busloads of travelers, pass by and, wait a few minutes. There are plenty of things to see outside the butterfly... More

The garden is beautiful but if you go at the wrong time of the year nothing will be blooming and there will be no butterflies. We went in April thinking there would be plenty blooming but we were still too early in the season. There isn't much to see other than one large butterfly enclosure. It was neat though because...
