This onsen resort has the best outdoor onsen which is the best experience ever. I recommend you to go in the winter like January or February when it snows so you can enjoy a hot spring while snowing and watching an amazing view of the mountains.There is nothing better than that.The food was also very good.

A great onsen/ryokan! I definitely recommend going! There is an indoor ofuro (public bath) as well as an outdoor onsen. It's perfect to use the outdoor onsen in the winter when it's snowing. I made the mistake of driving through the city which was a bit terrifying because the roads are so small. I just found out that the Onsen resort that I usually stay in which is Kasenkyo Izutsuya is very near Yumura Onsen. In fact I understand Yumura Onsen is the source of Spring water of the Onsen resorts in the area. As I understand it, the Yumura Osen was discovered way back in 500AD or earlier. It only took me...
