1 hour visit is enough, any body interested in the Swiss Military History / Foreign Legionaries some 100 over years ago .. should not miss this one.
There is a Café at the same place.
This place is popular for school classes.

This is not a big place, but the displays are packed in. 1 hour at most. If you are looking for a way to kill an hour this is perfect.

We reserved one day especially for this Museum and that proved to be a good idea. Switzerland doesn't have a history of war but an interesting military history and for the enthusiasts of arms/weapons also a range of Swiss made guns to explore here.

This is a private military collection which is now housed in an old civil air-raid shelter underneath my son's school and about 300 meters from my house and at the foot of Mt Pilatus at the end of a dead end road. It has a military theme cafe where I recently our yearly apartment block meeting.
The collection is quite interesting and is being improved all the time. It a nice reminder of Switzerland's long military tradition and a worth while visit for the military minded.
